Agrobiological assessment of melon (Cucumis Melo L.) was conducted in 2023–2024 at the experimental field of the Department of Vegetable Growing of Uman National University. Morphological, physicochemical, qualitative indicators, productivity indicators, and indicators of ecological plasticity and stability of 11 cultivars (‘Ananas’, ‘Medova Kazka’, ‘Dubivka’, ‘Kolhospnytsa’, ‘Prestyge’, ‘Karamel’, ‘Rannya 133’, ‘Prescott’, ‘Titovka’, ‘Torpeda’, ‘Retato Degli ortolani’) and 6 hybrids of common melon (Carriere F1, Valencia F1, Blanco F1, Maziane F1, Bizan F1, , ‘Amal F1’) were studied. The fruit mass values ranged from 0.8 to 2.2 kg. The highest fruit mass value was reached by ‘Prestyge’ cultivar (2.2 kg). The highest yields were obtained by the cultivars ‘Medova Kazka’ (63.0 t ha-1), ‘Ananas’ (62.3 t ha-1), ‘Prestyge’ (62.1 t ha-1), ‘Rannya 133’ (61.7 t ha-1) and the ‘Carriere F1’ hybrid (61.7 t ha-1). The most stable cultivars were ‘Ananas’, ‘Torpeda’, ‘Prescott’ and ‘Carriere F1’, ‘Bizan F1’, ‘Maziane F1’ hybrids. The most environmentally plastic cultivars were ‘Medova Kazka’ and ‘Carriere F1’, ‘Bizan F1’ hybrids. The most adaptive (by CAA coefficient) were ‘Medova Kazka’, ‘Ananas’, ‘Prestyge’, ‘Rannya 133’ and the ‘Carriere F1’, Maziane F1 hybrids. According to most of the physicochemical characteristics, the cultivars Medova Kazka, ‘Titovka’, ‘Carriere F1’ and ‘Amal F1’ hybrids performed the best. As a result of this study, cultivars and hybrids of common melon (Cucumis Melo L.) were identified that are most adapted to the climatic conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine.
